Your oven settings are a guess until you measure them.

PiatIQ and RotoSight by Yantra24x7 measure every cycle, arm and reject on your rotomolding machines. On Vel Plast's own floor, the same machine ran 36% more cycles per hour on 26% less gas per cycle.

-27%

Cycle time

27 to 17 min per cycle. 36% more cycles per hour from the same machine.

Measured at Vel Plast, Coimbatore, India, on a 4-arm carousel with a 13 mm aluminum mold, after re-tuning oven time, oven temperature, airflow and cooling from measured data. Reject reduction came from measurement plus Pareto analysis of the causes.

-26%

Gas per cycle

10.5 to 7.8 kg LPG (23.1 to 17.2 lb)

-60%

Rejects, optimized mold

4.9% to 1.7%: 49 to 17 rejects per 1,000 parts

Proven on our own floor, every day.

Vel Plast is a rotomolder first. We run PiatIQ and RotoSight in our own plant to answer our own questions: which cycles waste gas, which arm is idle, and why parts fail inspection. Every result on this page comes from that floor.

Internal air temperature monitor

PiatIQ product image

See what temperature the air inside the mold actually reached, every cycle, and stop heating at the right moment instead of by habit.

  • Temperature trace for every cycle, lined up with cooking and cooling
  • Compare cycles to set oven time, temperature, airflow and cooling from data
  • No connection to your machine controls needed

Two products, one path

Start by measuring one cycle. Grow into watching the whole floor.

Every machine, arm, cycle and reject on one screen, with gas and electricity counted per cycle on any brand of machine.

  • Live floor board: running, idle and disconnected machines, OEE by shift
  • Every oven cycle by arm: cook, cool and burner time, gas and electricity
  • Molds on each arm, parts made against order quantity, mold weight balance across arms
  • Rejection and downtime Pareto by reason and by mold, with rework tracking
  • Operator and supervisor allocation, daily email reports, Excel and PDF export

Connects to:

any PLC over Ethernet. Schneider live today; others interfaced in a few days.

Most rotomolders still set oven time by habit. PiatIQ puts a probe inside the mold and records the internal air temperature every cycle. You see exactly when the part reached its peak, so you stop heating at the right moment. Shorter cycles, less gas, fewer underbaked or burnt parts.

Measure what matters

Andon board for the floor

Every machine at a glance: state, output, operator, energy and gas this shift.

Quality Pareto

Rejects by reason and by mold: pinholes, wall thickness, warpage and more, trended by day.

Machine view

Oven, burner, blower, door and all four arms live, with the molds on each arm.

Downtime Pareto

Idle time by reason so the biggest loss is obvious every morning.

Cycle log

Each oven cycle by arm with cook and cool start, end and duration.

Automatic Weight balancing of arms

Suggestions for Mold weight and position across arm discs to protect bearings and gearbox.

WORKED EXAMPLE, CONSERVATIVE CASE

$74,600 a year

from one 4-arm carousel on US natural gas prices. That is about $6,200 per machine per month.

Fewer rejects (1.5 points)

$58,900

Gas per cycle

$10,300

Electricity per cycle

$5,300

Extra output sold

$0

Total

$74,600

If the plant can sell 30% of the extra cycles and gets our full reject result, the same machine reaches about $195,100 a year.

Assumes a new customer gets half our reject improvement and sells none of the extra output. Assumptions: 24 hours a day, 300 days, 80% utilization, 50 kg per oven cycle, $5 lost per rejected kg after regrind, natural gas at $5.33/Mcf and electricity at 9.05 cents/kWh (EIA, 2025-26). We build the same model with your numbers during the demo.

Your data stays yours

Read-only connection

The system reads your PLC. It does not write to it or change any setting.

US cloud hosting

Data is stored in a US region of AWS or Google Cloud.

Private cloud option

For plants that require it, we host on your own cloud and manage it for you.

COMING

On the roadmap

Automated cycle control

Today we show you the cycle. Next, the system acts on it.

Part-level barcode traceability

A barcode record for every part, ready for customer audits.

For machine builders: ship every machine data-ready.

Your customers will start asking for cycle, gas and quality data. Fit RotoSight and PiatIQ at your factory and offer it as a standard option, without building software yourself.

Connects to your PLC over Ethernet in a few days, with no development on your side.

Gives your machines the data features buyers now see on premium brands.

Earns you recurring income from every connected machine you sell.

Referral, reseller and factory-fit partnerships available. Ask us for terms.

Who it is for

Rotomolders with existing machines

Retrofit on any brand, old or new.

Buyers of new machines and molds

Factory-fitted and ready from day one.

Water tank manufacturers

Cut gas and rejects on high-volume tank lines.

Book a demo

Thirty minutes on Google Meet, with real plant data. We show you live cycles from our own floor, then work through the savings model with your numbers. Pilot places are open for US plants.
